Manitoba is one of the Canadian Provinces and in 2021, there are 8 public holidays in Manitoba. Manitoba is Canada’s fifth-most populous province as per the 2016 census. The province shared its borders with; north by Nunavut territory, the northeast by Hudson Bay, the east by Ontario, the south by Minnesota and North Dakota (US states), and to the west by the Province of Saskatchewan. Winnipeg is Manitoba’s capital and largest city in the province.

On July 15, 1870, Manitoba become the fifth province to join the Canadian Confederation, The name “Manitoba” could be derived from the word “manitou bou” which stands for the strait of the Great Spirit in Cree (a popular Indigenous Language). Canadian Museum for Human Rights (CMHR), The Forks, Winnipeg, Grand Beach of Lake Winnipeg, Riding Mountain National Park, Whiteshell Provincial Park, Pinawa Dam Provincial Park, Hecla Island, Canadian Fossil Discovery Center at Morden, Mennonite Village windmill, Lower Fort Garry National Historic Site, Narcisse Snake Dens, Clear Lake, Lake Katherine, and Deep Lake are some of the popular attractions in Manitoba.
